In this episode, I reflect on a pivotal time in my life when I moved out with my children and began homeschooling. This season marked not just a physical move, but also a deep spiritual transition. I was leaving my former church and living out the scripture from 2 Corinthians 5:17—embracing the idea of being a new creation in Christ.
As I navigated this journey, I sought to strengthen my relationship with God and understand how He truly saw me. In the midst of this exploration, I encountered a moment of deep personal conviction. While praying, I had a powerful experience where the Holy Spirit revealed that I had been struggling with a sense of self-righteousness. It was a difficult truth to accept at first, but it opened my eyes to a deeper issue I had been avoiding.
I share how I came to recognize this self-righteous attitude, reflecting on how my former church's teachings conditioned me to believe we were the only ones “doing it right.” Through prayer, research, and self-reflection, I began to unpack the characteristics of self-righteousness and saw how they resonated within me.
This episode is a vulnerable exploration of spiritual growth, humility, and the importance of being open to God’s voice—even when it challenges your deepest beliefs.

Prophet Shardae's trauma response, characterized by fawning and people-pleasing, led to her becoming silenced and retreating from her prophetic voice. Despite this, she drew strength from Matthew 10:28 and Proverbs 7:10, encouraging fellow prophets to seek God's approval over human approval and to embrace the wisdom found in fearing the Lord.
